Your job at Fairworks

Your responsibilities

Supervising complex projects and their execution, including all project-related tasks
Maintaining close contact and expanding relationships with existing customers while acquiring new customers
Developing briefing materials together with the relevant in-house departments
Developing designs for exhibition stands and trade fair appearances, presenting designs to customers and leading the subsequent negotiations
Coordinating in-house project procedures and ensuring all activities are completed as scheduled
Overseeing all project procedures and serving as an interface for everyone involved: customers, in-house departments, external partners
Presenting the finished stand to customers on site
Managing the project’s commercial activities after the event, arranging for dispatch of the final invoice, monitoring payment

Your experience and skills

Completed training/studies (e.g. architect, or bachelor’s degree in exhibition, congress and event management)
Professional experience in a comparable position (trade fair construction, event organisation or something similar)
Good business management and technical skills
Ability to inspire and persuade customers
Excellent consulting skills for the development and execution of three-dimensional displays
Problem-solving skills and flexibility
Ability to communicate and negotiate
Team spirit and service mentality
Ability to work well under pressure (incl. deadlines)
Solid knowledge of German and English, written and spoken
Willingness to travel, driving licence (automobile)
